I have a gas stove/oven and am wondering the on the do’s and don’ts of self cleaning. First off I have a broiling pan that came with the stove, it’s the same material as the inside of the stove and is a pain in the ass to clean, can I keep that in the stove while the self cleaning happens? It isn’t all that dirty but I want to do the self clean anyway, so how long will I need to set the timer for? And can I leave the home while it self cleans to avoid having to deal with the burnt smell? Oh! The stove top burners, super dirty as well, can I put them in the oven to burn off the residue!? (This was a foreclosed home) 
Nothing should be left in the oven. The clean time for the oven is based on how dirty it is. Look for a website for the brand of your oven. You might find useful tips there even if it is an older model.
Try soaking the the other things in hot soapy water and get some Barkeeper’s Friend, which you can find where you would find Ajax or Comet typically. It cleans almost everything, although you will need a bit of elbow-grease too!

Do you think that beauty pageants hurt or help self esteem?
Posted by: admin / Category: Self HelpI have a 12 year old that wants desperately to enter the city pageant but I am fearful because even though she is a beautiful girl I wonder what would happen to her emotionally if she doesnt win. I know she is at an age where she is easily influenced by what others say and do. I tried it when I was a teen and what I remember most was how much the other girls teased me about how "plain" my outfits were. My family really didnt have much money so I got my dresses from 2nd hand stores and yard sales. I can afford to get her whatever she wants as far as dresses but girls can still be mean. I just dont know if this will help her feel more confident or if it will crush her.
She is very confident in public. She sings in church and I kinda get the impression that part of the reason she wants to do it is so people can hear her sing.
Well I would say it’s a good sign that she wants to do it. I’m sure some moms force their daughters into it from an early age. It really depends on her personality. She might be strong willed enough to ignore any criticism and really believe in herself. Maybe she is more sensitive but at the end of the day while I’m sure you want to protect her daughter I think you should encourage her to pursue her passions and support her as a growing individual making her own choices with your guidance. If you just take it day by day you can assess whether it’s becoming too much for her or not and if she knows you’re there for her she will be more likely to tell you too if it’s getting too much also. Hope this helps.
I am a 13 year old indocanadian boy, everyone thinks I’m funny and a good artist.
But I hate my self, not for anything I did but because due to religion, I cannot cut my hair and eat meat.
Me and my family eat meat and they cut their hair but I am not allowed to.
I am closest to my dad in my family and I want to ask him if I can cut my long hair which annoys the crap out of me.
How can I approach and ask him this?
P.S. He has his hair cut so he’s not too strict about it!

So my ingrown hairs are bringing my self esteem down. Help?

Its so freaking disgusting! It’s like all over my legs. I’m covered in them D: EVEN ON MY ARMS AND I NEVER SHAVED THERE. Maybe it isn’t ingrown hair? It’s like goosebumps kinda things and like the hair kinda like curls in ya know? Well probs not but oh wells ==
I tried waxing but I really can’t afford that so yeah. And shaving.. well I give up with that now.
I tried exfoliating and stuff but it doesn’t seem to work.. I’m thinking of getting a epilator because well I would save some money and stuff.

I HATE MY SKIN.
just tweeze the hair that’s ingrown, it should grow back relatively normal! then with the rest of your hair just do your regular routine may it be shaving, waxing, shower creams, whatever haha.
