“One of the most challenging questions that clients ask me is if I have let go of all of the negative experiences in my past.
My answer is both yes and no. It’s a process of forgiving and releasing whatever comes up when it comes up. Sometimes you don’t know you’re holding onto something until you are confronted with it. The beauty of neurolinguistic programming (NLP) and Ericksonian hypnosis is that an environment can be created in which one can release the past. Michael J. Emery is a Personal Development Coach in Portland, OR. He is available for international telephone and video coaching. Visit www.michaeljemery.com to learn more! Michael J. Emery’s life coaching background includes Ericksonian Hypnosis, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Humanistic Neuro-linguistic Psychology, and Transpersonal Psychology.”

jamesvhawk, the …
jamesvhawk, the gorge is just on the other side of the mountains (well a few miles) lol. i’m on Mt. Hood at Timberline in the middle of the ’08 summer. i hiked up to a peak because it had a great view, then all of a sudden these clouds swept in and it started dumping snow. it was pretty cool! man, its tough sometimes but sometimes we have to use pain as a catalyst – something has to shake our little world so we change. some of the best lessons for me have hurt the most but it prepares us for now

Great vid mike, are …
Great vid mike, are you in the Gorge? Great view points on forgiving, I would like to add that the pain or emotion felt from past wrongs or events were what I in fact needed for my understanding that has unfolded as it is today. So the acceptance, the forgiveness and the gratitude for the lesson in understand they all have left me with increase my ability to perceive truths that were out of my field of vision before the wrongs were committed.
