It’s no more anecdotal, expensive or unproven that psychology and psychiatry… It can be a very expensive merry-go-round, just as psychiatry and psychology are… There simply is no ONE SIZE FITS ALL that’s going to fix every problem of every person…

I get what Steve is …
I get what Steve is trying to say – people often grab for “self-help” and become addicted to the “notions/potions” to temporarily or immediately sooth the “feeling” ailing them instead of confronting the problem. In reality there is no need to purchase this stuff, if one was capable of being 100% honest with themselves they could face and cure what is ailing them or stopping them from suceeding in all aspects of life. Just look at how life experiences groomed you to be who you are today.
