Huh? What is all this hogwash? We only have one life…get over it.
Thing is a lot of …
Thing is a lot of the women admire oprah, cause she is so respected and it seems to them that everything that comes out of
her mouth might seem good to them!
But this shows, how naive, and foolish
human beings are in general! Just because something seems good, it doesn’t necessarily mean its good! Why are we humans sooo foolish! I truly believe they shouldn’t teach false doctrine!
And that is what oprah and all these selfhelp people are doing!
Thanks for the …
Thanks for the great words!
Read the bible …
Read the bible again,It doesnt mean anything other than if you couldnt live with the sad facts then thats exactly what youd choose for yourself to leave in search of an ego, selfrightousness or beliefs to suit.John 14 : 27. Romans 6: 1-11 .if it reminds you of bin laden then when you are nearest jesus you will reject him and laugh thats what most did do and he wont force you to like him. it just means get on with life but know where it came from .
@clarkemetalstrust …
@clarkemetalstrust – you sure live in a bubble if you truly believe there is only one way to heaven. Kinda reminds me of Bin Ladden who is killing innocent people because he believe the only way to heaven is to submit to Allah. Huh!
Bitter? About what?

scientology=rubbish, oprah=rubbish ,secret=rubbish, depak=rubbish, tao te ching=rubbish ,tony robbins=Awesome. There is one way to heaven and that is through Jesus.Acts 17: 26-28 the reason we need jesus is because after sin corrupted our race we would now only live 24hrs Gen 2:17 but we were offered a new heart from jesus in exchange for our old hearts and so he began dying since the beggining of sin to give us time to choose him .The flesh is corrupted Romans 8:1

Dose who intellectualize to much about god dont know im.. and dose who argue on word in the bible if tis true or not what they say in the book .. have not experience god yet!
to believe in god you need to feel not to think!
I like the …
I like the questions this video poses however that tony robbins excerpt was taken out of context. He does believe in God and does teach that your not ultimately in control and your not guarenteed success. I’m not in agreement with everything he says or does but he presents basic psychological tools in an energizing way.
…In John 14:12 …
…In John 14:12 Christ said we can do even greater things than he did if we follow his teachings. That book also says not to practice “pharmakia,” & with his teachings (the same as I learned from Buddhist monks) you control your mind so it doesn’t cause bad moods or illness & trips to the pharmacy to be pumped with body destroying and or mind altering chemicals. Buddha said to question everything-even what he said, to be logical & try things out for yourself. I’m sure Christ felt the same way.
Thanks for the …
Thanks for the personal message. I am quite familliar w/Christian teachings since I went to Catholic school, I just don’t agree & as I said, we don’t know Christ’s exact words since we weren’t there. I think that a true teacher teaches one to be strong & independent & a true teaching unifies all-religion (the fan clubs men built around the different teachers) divides. If Christ was wise, and I believe he was, he wouldn’t have made such a pompous comment. I think that was a misinterpretation.
As for the …
As for the authenticity of the the bible, it has the most manuscripts, than any other historical book, and it has the shortest time gap from when the events happened to when they were written down. (The New Testament was written about 30 years after Jesus’ death). It has more authenticity in manuscripts than Julius Caesar, Cisero, you name it. The most authentic, most reliable book we possess is the New Testament. ….(cont.
He explains to his …
He explains to his disciples later in verse 30 what he meant by that. “Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.” Jesus was in fact explaining his second coming.
In this verse(Luke …
In this verse(Luke 17:21) “within” comes from the greek word “entos”. When this word is used with a plural noun, “entos” means “among” or “in the midst of”. And in this verse Jesus was answering a group of Pharisees’ question. ” He answered THEM and said, “For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” So a better translation would be “The kingdom of God is in the midst of you”….(cont.
You wrote “And I …
You wrote “And I agree, Jesus was right, just like the rest were because they were all saying the same thing.”
But Jesus did not say the same thing. He was constantly telling people to turn from their evil deeds (repent) and believe in the gospel. Jesus said he’s the only way. Not buddha, not allah, only him, exclusively. So what he said has to be either true or false.
As for Jesus saying “the kingdom of God is within”, you have to understand the greek, and the context..(continued in next..
p.p.s.-Was in a …
p.p.s.-Was in a restaurant in Asia once and on the menu under poultry was “Fried Children.” It’s amazing how a few letters or words can completely change the original message.
p.s.-That book you …
p.s.-That book you quote from was written in a foreign lanquage & was edited by people with their own agenda (money & control of the masses) so, it’s hard to say what Jesus’ (one of several enlightened masters teaching mind mastery) exact words actually were, isn’t it? Things often get misheard or lost in translation. But most of what he said is in line with common sense and the other holy texts, so that’s what I go by.
…of good and evil …
…of good and evil, which in the East is called maya or seeing everything as seperate-right or wrong, black or white etc. I’m also into quieting the mind to access “the kindgom of god” so I’m tapped into that and can benefit from it and not trying to be a “god” all by myself. In Taoism, the Tao or their idea of “god” is “The All” or “Everything,” which Christians would call The Trinity. All the holy books of the world were written in metaphor to describe the same intangible things.
My beliefs are all …
My beliefs are all inclusive-including Jesus’, Buddha’s, Lao Tsu’s, Hermetic Philosophy, etc. And I agree, Jesus was right, just like the rest were because they were all saying the same thing. There’s a great vid called “The Matrix of Illusion” that begings “If you have a golfball sized consciousness, when you read a book you have a golfball sized understanding of that book.” I’m all about expanding my consciousness so I see the unity is everything and stop eating from the tree of knowledge…
ps. what are your …
ps. what are your beliefs? Just curious. This is a good convo
Christianity isn’t …
Christianity isn’t about happiness. In fact you could very well live a more miserable life as a Christian. Jesus assured there will be trials and tribulation. Christianity is about truth. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. He was either right or wrong.
As for the last comment, I agree there is a lot of hypocrisy in Christianity, but that shouldn’t turn you away from finding out if Jesus was right.
p.s. The same goes …
p.s. The same goes for YOUR perception that “god” is a being and needs deeds to be done to be made happy. For starters negative thoughts cause stress which makes the body sick. Mastering your mind (where the kingdom of “god” is) might be a nice place to begin & as far as the “deeds” you refered to; Buddhist monks are some of the happiest, calmest and unlike most Bible Belt dwellers the THINNEST people I’ve ever known and none live in prison for lack of self-control like so many “Christians” do.
I’m aware of all …
I’m aware of all that. But you interpreting not being an ignorant, irresponsible, lazy mental and physical couch potato as “pride” is your personal semantics or the ones you’ve been trained to regurgitate from others.
Muslims believe …
Muslims believe human beings are born sinless and are good by nature. Since they don’t have a fallen nature, they don’t think they need a Savior. They depend on their own efforts to please Allah.
The Koran tells them that the good deeds they do will cancel out the bad deeds (Sura 11:114), but no one knows how many good deeds are enough.
Again like every religion, Islam relies on self-(works,deeds) to get into heaven, “become apart of the divine”, “liberation”, “Nirvana”, etc.
