How to stop a self cleaning oven HELP?

i accidentally flipped the lock thing on my oven it is an older oven and i cant flip it back my dinner is in it so i unplugged the oven how can i get it to unlock???

Turn it off and wait a little. Some ovens have safety locking mechanisms like that

    The oven won’t unlock until it’s cool. That’s a safety feature for when you clean it. Nothing to do with it being an older oven; they’re all like that.
