Don’t let them get to you – stay positive in spite of it all. And I try to smile at folks – it makes them wonder what in the world you’ve been up to and really aggravates some of them too (o:. I’ve also discovered that when I’ve been in a situation where people are against me, it’s either because I’m legitimately doing something in error or those people are hurting inside themselves and are just lashing out at anyone else around them. I stop and take a look at my actions and see which situation applies. If I’m truly in error, then it’s my responsibility to change that. If it’s the other situation where the people are just plain ole miserable themselves and want to make everyone else miserable, I do my best to avoid them. If that’s not possible, then remembering that this situation will pass one day helps a lot and I’m a steadfast and diligent prayer-type person too. That in an of itself gives me way more strength than anything else I’ve found.
