I recently and had to return my Verizon FIOS equipment. Verizon sent me a self return kit. I wonder what Verizon corporate genius dreamed this up. Reading the enclosed instruction sheet, it says to just place the equipment between the cardboard slats in the box. The DVR fits well – but the smaller FIOS router / modem and even smaller digital TV adaptor for SD TVs just flops around in the box. Then toss in the remote controls.. LOL!

I did re-open the box and wrap the smaller items up in newspaper and sealed the box up with package tape after shooting this video. I can’t believe Verizon expects someone to just toss their equipment in the box like this! Even the single closure on the box would surly open up in transit spilling the content everywhere!

NOTE: Verizon FIOS IS GREAT! I moved where it was not available. The TV is the best picture and sound i have ever experienced. And the FIOS Internet just flat hauls ass! Never had an interruptions of service in over 10 months!
