Although they are complimentary of each other and interlink, they also have various important differences.</p>
<p>Looking up the dictionary definition of the two phrases doesn&#8217;t give much explanation by way of their differences. The definition of assertiveness is a person who acts confidently, while confidence is defined as someone having trust in themselves and their skills, something or someone completely.</p>
<p>The main difference between the two could be defined as being interaction. It is impossible for assertiveness to exist without another person to project it onto and be assertive towards, but confidence on the other hand can exist without being projected onto another being, as you can have confidence in yourself. </p>
<p>Confidence in yourself is often related to knowing your have a high standard of abilities and knowledge in a certain area, otherwise known as being within your comfort zone. For instance, a person is asked to create a presentation on a subject matter they have vast knowledge and expertise in. This is therefore within their comfort zone, allowing them to feel confidence in their abilities to perform the required task. Assertiveness has to have some form of interaction as the whole trait is about how others perceive you, and therefore could not exist without that. Assertive people tend to have very strong communication skills and self confidence.</p>
<p>It is important to understand the difference between these two traits, as well as how they are linked to each other. Assertiveness can only exist via confidence in a situation where there is communication, and without confidence in your self-worth, the necessary strong body language and behaviours will not come across, and therefore assertiveness will not be portrayed. On the other hand, confidence can exist all on its own, with or without communication, and most importantly you can be confident and feel self-worth without being assertive.</p>

<p>*	You will be able to avoid stress as you will find you have a lot more time to get work complete and on time.  The less stress we have the more energy we have.</p>
<p>*	You will be more productive as you boost your energy level waking up early.</p>
<p>*	You&#8217;ll be able to enjoy your breakfast and you won&#8217;t feel the need to overeat at lunch and dinner that usually happens when you don&#8217;t wake up early. </p>
<p>How to Wake Up Early</p>
<p>You&#8217;ve looked at the benefits of becoming an early riser.  here&#8217;s a few tips to get you on your way to becoming an early riser.</p>
<p>*	For some it&#8217;s good to make gradual changes to your sleeping pattern rather than trying to rush it.  So if you sleep for 8 hours per day, cut down to 7 hours per day in the fist week. </p>
<p>*	Water can help you become an early riser.  It can keep your body hydrated that helps to have a good night sleep early.  Drink water before bedtime and you&#8217;ll wake up early with a lot of energy. </p>
<p>*	Keep your bedroom neat and tidy.  Your environment has to contribute to your desire to sleep early and wake up early.  Even when you get less sleep at night, if you wake up in an environment that is pleasant and healthy, you&#8217;ll be motivated to rise early with gusto.</p>
